One of the CLPC’s achievements is the establishment of a strong partnership with organizations working for the same cause.

In particular, the CLPC has committed itself to wok with eight organizations namely; the Federal First Instance Court, Addis Ababa Police Commission, Child Abuse and Neglect Unit (Yekatit 12 Hospital), Civil and Social Affairs Office (Addis Ababa), Forum on Street Children Ethiopia, UNICEF, Juvenile Justice Project Office and Save the Children Sweden.

The aim of this partnership, which has become operational as of 28 November 2005, is to provide complementary services to children appearing before the Child Friendly Bench of the Federal First Instance Court.

The CLPC has also been successful in identifying issues for advocacy based on the legal service it has been rendering.

Based on the identified advocacy issues, the CLPC will work towards bringing child friendly policies and practices in the country.
