Programme
Directions | Programme Highlights
The Forum's work is geared towards producing
a select range of high-visibility products on children's issues
with a view to influencing public attitudes and policy and building
the capacity of child-focused organizations. Four "pillars" will provide the framework
- knowledge, advocacy, policy dialogue, and institution-building.
The Forum will seek to promote and disseminate information and knowledge
on grass-roots work being done by NGOs through complementary research
and by building an internet-based, region-wide network of child-rights
activists and knowledge institutions.
It will provide a forum for dialogue and discussion
on issues affecting children. It will seek to investigate new and
controversial issues. It will "put children 1st" in all
aspects of its work.
Key Strategies of ACPF are:
- Share information on good practices and lessons learnt;
- Promote positive and can-do approaches to problems and issues;
