The Ninth International Policy Conference on the African Child (IPC) seeks to look deeply into climate change as a disaster that is reversing progress made in children’s rights in Africa, situate the African child within the climate crisis discourse, thus trigger urgent policy and action. It will be informed by a background research report that would explore the interplay between climate change and the rights of children in Africa.
